Technology of construction of houses from Manual logging
Canadian felling
The Canadian felling is similar to the Norwegian one, but only in relation to a round log. It is believed that the “Canadian cup” is a stronger and “warmer” connection than an ordinary round cup, since during the Canadian felling, the walls of the log house look like a solid array, there are no gaps between the logs.
Stavlaft
Stavlaft is a Norwegian view of frame technology, when the power frame is made of logs or beams of large cross-section or diameter. Complemented by carved pillars, beds with elegantly decorated ends and chopped pediments, the stavlaft mansion looks both elegant and solid. The most eco-friendly material is used for insulation – shelter ecostroy. The power and beauty of this technology overshadows all frame structures. Stavlaft House is for those who don’t want to be like everyone else!
Post & Beam
Wooden houses, the frame of which consists of round posts and beams, the space between which is filled with any materials: glass, clapboard, stone, glass (frameless glazing is possible). Modern houses built using Post&Beam technology are based on a powerful power frame made of logs with a diameter of 40-50 cm or more, and the space between the pillars and beams is filled with stone, wood, glass, metal or brick.
